About Alan

Alan R. Burton has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1979. He has extensive litigation experience and has tried cases for over 25 years. Mr. Burton has also presented and argued over 43 cases in the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Additionally, he had the distinct honor of appearing before the Supreme Court of Florida in 1991, and presented the case of Robertson v. Robertson, 593 So2d 491 (Fla. 1991), which has become a landmark decision in Florida dissolution of marriage actions, cited frequently by trial judges throughout the state.

Mr. Burton grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. He received his education at Boston College, Suffolk University Law School and Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Burton gives all of his cases his personal attention. He is dedicated to seeking justice and fairness for each and every one of his clients, and prides himself on being accessible to his client's whenever he is needed, whether by telephone or personal conference.
