My mediation practice, Arbitration Mediation Circuit Civil Florida, commenced in 1996.  I have mediated cases throughout Florida including Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties.  

From 1996 to the present, I have mediated hundreds of all types of civil matters, and fortunately many of these cases were resolved.  I believe the reason for my better-than-average resolution rate is my ability to shed new light on the dispute. In some instances the result attained had never been considered by either party or their counsel.  This is what makes mediation such a great dispute resolution process.

Since 1996, my role has been to manage the mediation process.  This includes giving an opening statement, explaining the purpose of requesting a caucus, making certain that the parties have full authority to settle, explain confidentiality, ask if anyone present at the mediation was recording any portion of the event, and making certain that all parties understand that while I control the process, any result attained would be reached through their own determination. Even though some parties feel comfortable conducting a mediation over the phone, I am of the opinion that all parties should appear in person or through a representative with full authority to settle.  However, I am willing to acquiesce to their request, or adjourn the mediation until all parties could be present

Although it has not been uncommon to mediate a case that ends without an agreement, I have found that within a short period of time I would receive a call from counsel, thanking me for my contribution in settling the dispute.
