Ms. Amber Lynn Mied, Attorney

Amber L. Mied is a shareholder with Mied Law Group, P.C. Admitted to practice law in Arizona, Texas, and California, she is an aggressive domestic relations litigator. Ms. Mied consults with parents and advocates for parental rights in conflictual custody litigation, frequently involving complex psychological issues, child abuse and issues of addiction.

Ms. Mied has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1997. In addition to litigation, the Firm has an active private mediation practice which permits litigants to step out of the litigation process and strive toward negotiated-for-agreements between themselves. Ms. Mied has extensive mediation training and is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law's internationally recognized Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, ranked the #1 dispute resolution program in the country in 2008 by U.S. News and World Reports. Additionally, in 2008 she was appointed a Judge Pro Tempore in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Ms. Mied has been recognized as one of the Valley's 'Top 40 Under 40' entrepreneurs and has provided legal analysis in both broadcast and print media. She is a frequent lecturer in the area of domestic relations having sat as a panelist most recently in programs entitled Alternative Dispute Resolution for Families: In and Out of the Courtroom, Litigation Ethics and Secrets of Success: Management of a Small to Mid-Size Professional Practice.
