Andres Alfonso, a Bogota, Colombia native who was raised in Miami, is a dedicated first-party property insurance attorney in our Miami office.

Andres’s educational journey began at Doral Academy Preparatory, where he excelled in both academics and sports, specifically five years of Varsity soccer. Subsequently, he pursued higher education at Spring Hill College, where he showcased his soccer prowess as a Division II athlete for all four years.

Throughout his undergraduate years, Andres actively engaged in community service initiatives, such as tutoring underprivileged students and teaching English to immigrants, reflecting his deep commitment to social impact. He also played a vital role in a program called “Belong,” where he assisted Central Immigrants in navigating the challenging landscape of being undocumented immigrants in Alabama.

Furthermore, Andres displayed exceptional leadership as the Fundraising Chair for the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, successfully raising over $10,000.00 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. His dedication to philanthropy and community outreach exemplifies his compassionate nature and strong sense of social responsibility.

After earning his undergraduate degree, Andres opted to take a two-year gap to explore life beyond the confines of academia. His childhood dream of becoming an attorney stemmed from a profound appreciation for the profession’s professionalism and elegance, and he has since made significant strides towards realizing that dream.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Andres finds joy in staying physically active through regular workouts, cherishing quality time with his family, and indulging in the enchanting world of Harry Potter by watching the iconic film series.
