About Angela
Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Columbia, South Carolina in a household where obtaining an education and doing the right thing were fundamental, Angela Yvonne Jones is the eldest of two daughters of a retired public school administrator and retired military officer and entrepreneur.
Angela is a proud Keenan High School graduate and earned her B.A. in English Literature from the University of South Carolina in 1995. Angela moved to Michigan to begin her professional career in reference book publishing; however, Angela soon found her true purpose— compassionate advocacy for everyday people in the most need. In 2004, Angela earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan and has since dedicated her legal practice to delivering compassionate service to and obtaining great results for her clients while striving to ensure that her clients are served with the greatest respect and excellence.
Angela began her legal career as a legislative analyst with the City of Detroit before starting her own general practice law firm. She moved back home to Columbia in 2007 where Angela primarily worked in the field of public interest law, helping people. She has served the community as a general law practitioner, a child protective and family services attorney, and has worked to create more affordable housing opportunities for people who have experienced homelessness.
Angela joined the Columbia office of George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers in January 2016 as a Personal Injury Attorney, where she enjoys helping clients achieve maximum recovery and compensation for their injuries. Angela resides in Lexington, South Carolina and is the proud aunt of two gifted and immeasurably wonderful nieces, Koren and Norah.
