Anne E. Brown is an attorney practicing exclusively in the areas of medicalmalpractice and birth injury litigation with a special emphasis on militarymalpractice claims. As a former high-risk labor and delivery nurse, she hasspecial expertise in cases involving birth injury. She has handled numerouscomplex cases involving children with cerebral palsy and other catastrophicinjuries caused by birth trauma, as well as cases where the negligence hascaused a stillbirth or a neonatal death.

Her work in the area of newborn screening malpractice led her to co-author,with doctors form Harvard medical School and Johns Hopkins Hospital, an articlethat was published in a leading pediatric journal: Vitreous hemorrhage as anophthalmic complication of galactosemia, The Journal of Pediatrics, 129(6):922-925 (December 1996). She also had a closing argument she wrote in a breastcancer case published in a trial practice manual.
