Born in Little Rock with deep Arkansas roots in Crawford County, White County, and Central Arkansas, Mike graduated from North Little Rock High School and attended Henderson State University and Louisiana Tech. Before becoming a lawyer, Mike worked as a computer programmer, but he soon realized he was drawn to people, not machines. He enrolled in South Texas College of Law, working full-time during the day and attending law school at night. After law school, Mike returned home to Arkansas to raise a family and serve his community. He served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and later represented city officials through the Arkansas Municipal League Defense Fund. He also helped create and litigate for the Association of Arkansas Counties Risk Management Fund, representing county officials across the state for more than 31 years. Alongside this work, Mike began representing injured people because he felt called to help those who were hurting and sidelined by tragedy in their lives. In 2006, Mike helped form Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, which has grown to over 40 attorneys and more than 125 team members, all built on one simple philosophy: put people first. Mike loves Arkansas and has spent his entire law career serving its cities, counties, and families from every corner of the state. Bob Sexton is a founding partner of Rainwater, Holt & Sexton, Arkansas’s largest personal injury law firm. A lifelong Arkansan, Bob grew up in Lonoke and earned his undergraduate degree from Ouachita Baptist University before receiving his Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. For decades, he has represented individuals and families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, helping clients navigate complex legal matters and stand up to powerful insurance companies. Ron Goodman is a practicing lawyer in the state of Arkansas. Attorney Goodman received his J.D. from the University of Arkansas in 1982.

Tim provides comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients facing a wide variety of legal challenges and opportunities. He has handled all types of criminal cases ranging from murder to speeding tickets. Tim is licensed contractor and represents parties with construction law issues. He represents both builder/contractors and home owners. Tim attended Stark Technical College and received an Associates of Applied Science Degree with high distinction and he later received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Malone College. He then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville where he earned his Juris Doctor. While at Law School, he was elected President of the University of Arkansas Law School Student Bar Association and as student representative to the American Bar Association.After graduating from Law School, Tim took the Arkansas and Texas Bars simultaneously, passing both. He began working as an associate for the Law Firm of Patchen & Mitchan in Houston, Texas. In 2000, he returned to Northwest Arkansas and has been practicing in Fayetteville. Tim is licensed to practice by the Arkansas Supreme Court, the Texas Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Associate and was elected to the House of Delegates, and is a member of the Washington County Bar Association.

Josh Mostyn is a founding Member of Mostyn Prettyman, PLLC. He is a past Benton County Bar Association President. Josh clerked for the Hon. Brad Karren in the Rogers District Court, as well as in the Legal Department at Tyson Foods, Inc., through Arkansas School of Law’s Corporate Counsel Externship Program. Josh is a former legislative extern to Congressman Steve Womack in Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District. He has served as the Legislative Director for the Arkansas chapter of National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB), and Josh was named to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2008. Mr. Vowell is an accomplished lawyer that has extensive legal experience in Family and Criminal matters. He is currently an attorney at Taylor Law Partners in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In addition to his legal experience, he is active in several different associations including the Arkansas Bar Association, American Bar Association, Carroll County Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association. Mr. Vowell graduated from the University of Arkansas with a J.D. degree in 1975, and admitted to the Arkansas state bar also in 1975. Former prosecutor, David Parker, joined Dodds, Kidd, Ryan & Rowan in 2017. After graduating from UALR William H. Bowen School of Law in 2008, David worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, where he prosecuted over 30,000 criminal cases in White County District and Circuit Courts. There, he also served as Special Judge in White County District Court – Civil Division. Following his time as a prosecutor, David worked at the Department of Finance and Administration as Revenue Legal Counsel. There, David represented the department in all DWI drivers’ license appeal cases for the entire state of Arkansas. As part of his representation for the department, David played a key role in lobbying legislators and drafting legislation regarding Arkansas’ DWI laws, licensing and criminal statutes. Besides his work on DWI appeals, David litigated tax protests, business closures, and other civil lawsuits on behalf of DFA. As a Little Rock native, David serves on the Board of Directors for the Big Dam Bridge Foundation, whose mission is to promote the use, support, and preservation of the Big Dam Bridge for the advancement of health, fitness, cultural and recreational activities in Arkansas. David is also among the sixteen founding members of the Little Rock Touchdown Club, where membership has grown to more than 800 members, with the purpose of bringing football fans together to support all levels of Arkansas football.

Charles J. Buchan is a practicing lawyer in the state of Arkansas handling Estate and Adoption matters.

I was exposed to law at an early age as my grandfather and father were trial lawyers, grandmother was a court reporter and my uncle was a US Marshall. I had the opportunity to view trials starting at a very young age and see how a trial lawyer was able to help a client through very difficult times. In high school, I excelled at debate and was encouraged to pursue the practice of law. I enjoy trying cases and helping clients and families achieve justice through the legal system.
