Ronnie was born and raised in New York. He has always had a passion for the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Throughout high school, college, and law school he made many trips out west to spend time on the ski slopes. During that time he also discovered a love for business and the law. He attended Cornell University for their excellent business program, and received his Bachelor's of Science in Business Management and Marketing in 1999. While attending Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law he was able to spend a summer at the Central European University where he concentrated his studies on alternative dispute resolution techniques including arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. He received his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in alternative dispute resolution and intellectual property in 2003. With a law degree in hand, Ronnie moved to Colorado to be nearer to the mountains he loves. He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2003. Since then, Ronnie has focused his legal career to assist clients in the areas of intellectual property (i.e., copyrights, trademarks, and patents), business, real estate, personal injury and probate law. When Ronnie is not working, he is happily enjoying all the wonderful outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer: skiing, mountain biking, tennis, white water rafting, and four-wheeling.

He started his own firm in 1995 focusing on Civil and Criminal Litigation, Business Law, and Estate Planning. While in Cincinnati, his now ex-wife was a surgeon still in training. Over time Philip found that many medical professionals that he or his then wife knew began asking him questions related to contracts, careers, and practices. He realized there was a definite need he could address and developed his practice to help healthcare professionals. When his then wife completed her training, they moved to Colorado where he helped her set up and run her medical and surgical practice, as well as restarting his law practice with a focus on healthcare professionals and practices. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with a minor in History from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. From 1995 to 2003 he served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the US Army Reserves, where he assisted soldiers with estate planning and other assistance to meet their requirements prior to being deployed. He also represented soldiers in military separation boards and served as the Claims Officer for the 9th LSO, 88th RSC. He completed eight years of service rising to the rank of Captain. Philip is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Boulder County Bar Association, where he served as the co-chair of the Business Law Section for two years. John F. Reha has practiced litigation and business law since 1980. He has tried many cases to conclusion, has represented numerous clients in trade secrecy, non-compete and personal injury matters. He has also handled many transactional projects, including the sale and purchase of businesses. John has been handling complex business litigation matters for more than 40 years. He is a noted authority on issues commonly presented by noncompete, trade secrecy and unfair competition cases, and his article, “The Law of Trade Secrecy and Covenants Not to Compete in Colorado,” provides in-depth discussion on these issues. He has taught business litigation to many other attorneys and has spoken to numerous trade groups on this subject, with a goal of educating the business and professional communities on the unique challenges that post-termination competition presents and the critical importance of effective and creative representation in this area.

Ray Goodwin has been practicing law since 1985. For the past 25 years his practice has emphasized estate, corporate, real estate and business matters. Mr. Goodwin has lived in Colorado since 1982. Mr. Goodwin attended the University of Utah and received two B.S. degrees in Accounting and Finance. In 1982, Mr. Goodwin received a J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. While in law school, he was a teaching assistant for legal research and writing. Concurrently he was a Lecturer teaching Accounting at San Diego State University. In 1982, Mr. Goodwin received his license as a Certified Public Accountant, and he worked at Ernst & Whinney (nka Ernst & Young). In 1985, Mr. Goodwin worked for Manulife in its Advanced Underwriting division. In 1988 Mr. Goodwin went into private practice. Mr. Goodwin is admitted to practice before the Colorado Supreme Court; United States District Court and the United States Tax Court. From 1986 through 1994 Mr. Goodwin authored and updated tax planning guides for Tax Planning for Closely Held Businesses. Those guides were published by the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and used in their national continuing education programs, where Mr. Goodwin lectured throughout the country. Currently Mr. Goodwin is primarily involved in office practice, but his earlier years were spent in the courtroom. Mr. Goodwin’s current practice involves the representation of owners, buyers, sellers, developers and lenders involved in real estate and the representation of business and corporate clients invoiced in both real estate and other businesses. For estate planning clients, Mr. Goodwin has drafted many wills, trusts and organizational plans for extensive business holdings (mostly in real estate) and probate work for decedents and their beneficiaries. In the community Mr. Goodwin has served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Credit Union since 2007 and is currently the Vice-Chairman of the board. Mr. Goodwin is married and has three children and that is where his main interest is in watching them grow and serve.

Since joining the firm in 2011, David has specialized in handling many of the firm’s business litigation matters including those dealing with complex contracts, non-competes, trade secrets, and construction defects. Additionally, with his strong appellate background, David has been the primary attorney on most of the firm’s appellate cases, including some of the largest non-compete cases in Colorado history. With an extremely thorough, analytical, and strategic approach and the determination to go the extra mile for each of his clients, David has established a reputation as skilled litigator and advocate. Originally from Michigan, David has been a lifelong fan and supporter of the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2005 and went on to study law at Michigan State University. While attending law school, David was selected to the nationally renowned Appellate Moot Court Program where he enjoyed great success. David and his teammates won the 2008 John Marshall International Moot Court Competition in Information Technology and Privacy Law and took second place in the 2008 New York Law School Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Competition. After graduating from law school, David moved to Colorado and began an internship clerking for the Honorable Gerald Rafferty and Honorable Valeria Spencer of the Arapahoe County District Court until he joined the firm. Outside of law, David is passionate about traveling around the world and particularly loves cruising with his wife and kids. He also loves being involved in all of his son’s and daughter’s activities including soccer, dance, baseball, scouting and camping.

Since entering private practice, Les Roos has specialized in commercial real estate and business law. He has practiced as a partner in a Washington, D.C. law firm, a partner in a firm that was one of Denver’s largest, and as founding member of a small specialty firm in Denver. He has been selected one of Colorado's "Super Lawyers" by Law & Politics and 5280 Denver's Magazine. In over 40 years as a lawyer, he has been involved in virtually every aspect of commercial and residential real estate. Although he concentrates on representation of small, entrepreneurial real estate entities, he has also represented numerous institutional lenders and real estate companies including being the lead attorney from start to finish, assemblage, redevelopment, construction, sale and leasing, for two large redevelopment projects in Aspen, Colorado – a mixed use residential/retail condominium project and a residential condominium/hotel project, both in excess of $100 million. Les has represented sellers and buyers in vacant and improved land sales and his leasing experience, on behalf of both landlords and tenants, includes office buildings, retail and industrial centers, and ground leases. He has prepared all types of condominium and other common interest ownership documents, representing both the project developers and owners associations. He also has extensive experience in negotiating construction contracts and subcontracts and resolving disputes pertaining to these contracts. He has negotiated and drafted loan documents for secured and unsecured lending transactions for both lenders and borrowers, including workouts of distressed properties and foreclosures. His practice includes all aspects of limited liability company, partnership, and corporate law, in formation as well as in disputes and dissolutions. He has also represented buyers and sellers in numerous business sale transactions. A graduate and Law Review Editor of the College of William & Mary School of Law, he has served in leadership positions in a number of community and charitable organizations. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Roos was a professional baseball player and has been inducted into the Temple University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Jo Stone is a Colorado native, whose grandparents were homesteaders in eastern Colorado. Jo has both her bachelors and masters degrees in English literature as well as her law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. Jo's practice focuses on estate and business planning, although she also has an extensive background in litigation of all kinds, including commercial, business, and personal matters. Her diverse background and experience allows her to approach all legal matters in a very circumspect and comprehensive manner that is somewhat unique in relation to the narrowly-focused niche firms prevalent today. Jo’s diversity also allows her to develop long lasting relationships with a wide variety of clients who may need different legal assistance through the years. In addition to practicing law, Jo is on the faculty of the Graduate School of Business at the University of Phoenix and has taught at a variety of other colleges and universities throughout her career in the areas of business and arts and sciences. Jo is an active member of the Rotary Club of Parker and has served as the President, Director of International projects, Director of Club Service, as well as holding various posts in Rotary District 5450. She is an active advocate of Rotary’s program to eradicate Polio worldwide. Outside of the office, Jo and her husband, Jim, enjoy spending lots of time with their large family, as well as writing, music and travel.
