OUR FIRM

The law firm of Robbins, Kelly, Patterson & Tucker was established in Cincinnati in 1965. Since that time, the firm has grown to a combined total of 27 attorneys, paralegals, and support staff offering a broad range of legal services.

Our growth is a testament to our success in providing quality legal services in all areas of the law in a prompt dependable manner.

Our attorneys are licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida, enabling us to handle issues for our clients which may arise outside of the Greater Cincinnati area. We also maintain a strong referral network with other attorneys.

BUSINESS LAW

Over the years, we have represented many closely held businesses, including proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations. Besides assisting in setting up businesses, we also provide the legal services required for virtually every business function, such as buy-sell agreements, employment contracts, stock transfers, sales contracts, liquidations, mergers, acquisitions, employee benefit/retirement plans, pension and profit sharing plans, business financing, bankruptcy, dissolution, and business contracts.

REAL ESTATE

Real estate law has always been a significant area for RKP&T. We handle all areas of real estate law, including representation of buyers, sellers, lenders, landlords, tenants, developers, and builders in the purchase, sale, leasing, financing and construction of residential and commercial real estate. In addition to providing legal advice in these areas, we operate a wholly owned title insurance agency which provides title searches, issues title insurance policies, and provides escrow and closing services for all types of real estate transactions.

LITIGATION

RKP&T has an experienced litigation department which has seen rapid growth over the recent years. We handle all areas of business litigation for our business clients, including employment issues and contract disputes. Our personal injury and insurance practice has grown significantly in recent years, becoming a major part of our litigation department. In addition, we represent clients with respect to all types of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, drunk driving, traffic, and juvenile court matters.

PROBATE

We have an experienced estate planning and probate department. While preparing documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and declarations of intent, our attorneys assist our clients in achieving their personal goals, as well as obtaining favorable estate tax results. We offer advice in the area of asset preservation and Medicaid planning for the elderly. The probate department handles all aspects of guardianships and the administration of estates, including preparing and filing necessary probate documents and estate and fiduciary income tax returns.

FAMILY LAW

Our family law attorneys cover the entire scope of family law, including domestic relations matters, divorces, dissolutions, custody and support issues, legal separations, prenuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, paternity actions, and adoptions.

TAX

Our tax attorneys are called upon regularly by all of our other legal departments. We prepare personal income, estate, and gift tax returns. We also participate in tax audits and any resulting appeals.

The tax department also assists the probate department with income and estate planning, and the business department with preparation and implementation of employee benefit and retirement plans.
