My background is as follows: I am a Colorado attorney with over 39 years of experience (40 years as of November 2026) as a litigation attorney handling personal injury, all types of criminal defense, traffic matters such as DUI's, WC, and other litigation / trial matters. I was first a prosecutor in Miami (Dade County) Florida assigned to a DUI unit and then worked at a mid-sized firm in Boston, Massachusetts before opening my own firm. I also have an LLM in Litigation. That was an extra year of law studies focused on litigation and trial work. I received my law degree from Boston College Law School in 1986 and received my LLM in Litigation from Emory University School of Law in 1987. I moved to Colorado in 1993.
