I have prosecuted numerous severe injury claims and wrongful death suits and have litigated hundreds of claims representing victims of asbestos exposure. I am proud to have served as co-counsel in what is believed to be the largest individual asbestos settlement in the District of Columbia, and to have obtained tens of millions of dollars in awards and settlements for our clients. I also routinely represent business clients in commercial disputes including breach of contract cases, brokerage disputes, and litigation involving real estate. Business cases occasionally require arbitration, and I have many years of experience in the arbitration of claims under both the American Arbitration Association guidelines and JAMS rules. I previously served on the Board of Directors of the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, National Capital Area. My wife and I have lived in Bethesda for more than 20 years, and our children attended the local public schools. When we are not spending time enjoying our immediate community, we love to travel and explore.

Steve, originally from Baltimore, holds a JD and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland. In addition to advanced degrees, Steve has completed several training programs on representing taxpayers before the IRS including earning the NTPI Tax Fellow® and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) designations. Before becoming the Managing Partner of Cromwell & Company, Steve was the Controller for NFR Security, Inc. As a key member of the management team, he contributed to the success of completing the sale of NFR Security to Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., (Ticker CHKP) and the post-integration support of the two companies. Prior to that, he held controller positions with other high tech firms in the Baltimore Washington corridor and a senior analyst position in the treasury department of ICMA Retirement Corporation in downtown DC. Steve has significant experience in tax preparation, representing clients before the IRS, auditing, business valuation, and investment advisory. Occasionally when time permits, Steve has taught accounting courses at local universities and community colleges in the DC Metro area. In his free time, Steve enjoys being outdoors running, hiking, and biking. On Saturday afternoons in the fall, you can find Steve at University of Maryland football games cheering on the Maryland Terrapins.

Keith graduated from SUNY Binghamton in 1989 with a B.A. in Political Science. Keith obtained his J.D. from American University, The Washington College of Law in 1992. Keith was admitted to practice in the State of Maryland in 1992 and the District of Columbia in 1993. In addition to being admitted to practice before the local courts in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia, Keith is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Circuit Court for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States Circuit Court for the District of Columbia.

John B. Flood represents clients in trials and adversarial proceedings, in matters involving non-competition and other restrictive covenants, and in all aspects of labor and employment law. Prior to starting Flood Law, John served as an active duty Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG) officer, attaining the rank of Major. John then joined a national labor and employment firm, becoming a Shareholder.
