Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Have brought several lawsuits for individuals that were not paid overtime wages and ""on call"" wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Lawsuits have been filed in both state court and federal court. Was able to resolve the conflict between my clients and the employer to the satisfaction of my clients. Have taken case to the court of appeals in Texarkana, Texas, regarding a title dispute in oil and gas litigation after the trial court ruled for the defendant in a summary judgment action. The appeals court reversed the decision of the trial court and sent the case back to the trial court for further action. Case is Mark Mueller v. JD Minerals, out of the Court of Appeals in Texarkana, Texas.
