About Brett
Brett A. Brudvik joined Ohnstad Twichell, P.C., as an associate attorney on October 1, 2005. Brett was born in New Ulm, Minnesota, and grew up in Mayville, North Dakota. In 2000, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Plant Industries Management, Agronomy, and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Agricultural Aviation, from the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
Brett graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2004, where he was a moot court champion and member of the Order of the Barristers. He also received the Memorial Union Leadership Award as an outstanding student leader, and was the recipient of the John Havlis Memorial Law Scholarship for his commitment to rural practice, high moral character, and active involvement in the community.
Brett and his wife, Laura, reside in Mayville. Brett is the chairman of the Mayville Airport Authority, and the Mayville Renaissance Committee. He is a member of the MayPort EDC, and actively involved in the community. His wife travels to Grand Forks where she teaches high school English.
Brett practices in the Mayville office, and is licensed in North Dakota. He will maintain a general practice of law with a concentration on municipal law, real estate, water law, estate planning, tax, and litigation.
