He was twice selected as the Player of the Game for his performance against Cornell University and Towson University. In 1998, Mr. Bronson received the George Rieu Award given to the most outstanding line-backer or defensive line-man.

While at Duquesne Law School, Mr. Bronson earned the C.A.L.I Award in the subject of Criminal Law. He also served as a member of the Duquesne Law Review where he authored 2 published articles.
