About Brian
Attorney Brian Tadtman is a trial-tested lawyer with ample experience representing clients both in and out of the courtroom. During his years in practice, Brian has spear-headed several large cases. He acted as the lead attorney on two separate bellwether cases in national MDL litigation, and he was appointed to the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee for the National Federal Farxiga MDL by the Honorable Judge Lorna Schofield of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Brian has also secured multi-million dollar settlements for clients in individual suits in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
In addition, Brian guides entrepreneurs in creating and managing fledgling businesses and litigates defense side construction disputes.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I took a case that every attorney I spoke with told me it had limited value and turned into a settlement of over $1 million.
How did you build a successful practice?
I built a successful practice by having genuine empathy and respect for my clients. People usually call a lawyer on the worst day of their month or even their year. I pride myself on forming actual connections with my clients which make working together through the problem as painless as possible.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
More than anything, a client should be personally comfortable with the attorney working on their case. Your choice of a lawyer is yours alone. Make sure to ask questions about who will actually be handling your case. Do not rely upon flashy advertising.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge is highly dependent on they type of matter the attorney is handling. Local knowledge for a car accident is a very essential. Local knowledge for a medical product failure is not as essential.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is finishing a case and having a client tell me that I've changed their life for the better. There is nothing more rewarding than that.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
I am an avid skier and outdoorsman. I love spending time with my two sons and getting to play with all of the old toys that I played with when I was a kid.
Are you involved in your community?
I dedicate my community involvement to working with high school students who are interested in civics and legal careers. I mentor students involved in the We the People mock congressional hearing competition and I also do presentations for students and the Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professional Studies.
