Bruce H. Fleisher is a sole practitioner specializing in criminal defense in state and federal courts in South Florida and nationwide since 1973. A veteran trial lawyer of over 200 jury trials involving extended complex criminal matters, he has tried 29 first-degree murder cases, which included 18 death penalty cases . Cases scheduled for 2008 include co-defense counsel in State v. Connolly, a retired FBI agent from Boston charged along with members of "Boston's Irish Mob Winter Hill Gang," with multiple homicides including the murders of the CEO/President and owner of the World Jai Alai. Director Martin Scorcese's film "The Departed," is based on this South Boston Mafia, as well as the New York Times best-seller "Black Mass."

Other high profile cases of note are: State v. Mese, an acquittal of a CPA in a double homicide in Dade County's longest RICO/Capital case known as the Hungarian Barrel Murders; State v. Rolando Garcia, a sixteen year Death Row inmate now free after five retrials on five separate homicides; State v. Gonzalez, murder of a police officer; State v. Gonzalez-Mendoza, Baby Lollipops Infant Murder; State v. Bruce, murder of a Miami police captain's wife; and U.S.A. v. Gonzalez-Lauzan, contract execution murder of a federal government informant. He was first chair counsel in State v. Theresias, nolle processed the day before jury selection, after he proved that the State's key witness was the actual killer. Cases scheduled for 2006 include State v. Locascio (Coral Gables contract murder), and State v. Herndon (Insanity defense of the defendant who murdered his physician in his Aventura Hospital office).

Bruce is a member of the NACDL, an FACDL Miami Board Member, AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, and was recently dubbed the oracle of information by the Miami Criminal Bar. He has also served as a literary consultant, and has appeared as a guest on CNN. Bruce is also a member of the Florida Bar, Federal Bar, 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Supreme Court, United States Tax Court, and is a certified Civil Mediator.
