About C.
Ben Harrison has been practicing law in Nashville, Tennessee since 1977, and has been with Cornelius & Collins, LLP since 1983. The focus of his practice over these years principally has been in non-domestic civil litigation, with significant experience in commercial litigation, professional liability, entertainment litigation, and bankruptcy. He practices in all state and federal courts, both within the State of Tennessee and in other jurisdictions.
Mr. Harrison represents healthcare professionals and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. He also handles credentialing issues between doctors and hospitals as well as commercial disputes arising out of the practice of medicine. He represents numerous other professionals in professional liability cases, including attorneys, accountants, engineers, and contractors.
In addition to other areas of practice, Mr. Harrison represents individuals in the entertainment industry, principally artists, personal managers and business managers, in various commercial and intellectual property disputes. In 1978 with the passage of the new Bankruptcy Code, Mr. Harrison, as young associate, was required to learn the new Code and was responsible for handling all the bankruptcy matters for his former firm. Since that time, Mr. Harrison has represented numerous clients in bankruptcy matters, including debtors, creditors, and trustees.
