About C.
Andrew was born in Montgomery, Alabama and moved to Gulf Shores, Alabama with his family in 1986. Since that time he has called Gulf Shores home. After graduating from Foley High School, Andrew attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, where he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1999 Andrew graduated from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, after which, due to his love of the area, he moved back to Gulf Shores to pursue his legal career.
Beginning in September 1999, Andrew went to work for the Baldwin County District Attorney's Office where he worked as an Assistant District Attorney for two years. As an Assistant District Attorney, Andrew successfully prosecuted all levels of crimes in juvenile, district and circuit courts.
In October 2001, Andrew left the District Attorney's Office to form the firm of Herbert & Harrell LLC in his home town of Gulf Shores. As a member of that firm Andrew handled many various legal matters, including condominium law, real estate transactions, commercial and residential leases, subdivision regulation matters, zoning matters, homeowners association issues, business formations, business transactions, probate matters, preparing wills, contract litigation, environmental litigation, landlord tenant litigation, quiet title actions, construction litigation, will contests and other miscellaneous legal and litigation matters.
Andrew formed C. Andrew Harrell, Jr., P.C. in February 2007. Since that time his practice has continued to encompass the same types of matters he began handling while at Herbert & Harrell LLC and has expanded to include practicing in Federal Court and personal injury.
Andrew is admitted to practice in the State of Alabama and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.
Andrew is a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Andrew also participates in the local Kiwanis chapter and the Alabama Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.
