Ludwig v. Bergonio

Defendant: Attorney for the defendant, Karen Aura Bergonio. The plaintiff, Irene Thea Ludwig, filed a complaint against the defendant alleging that she had not provided 120 days' notice of resignation per their written employment agreement. Ludwig sought damages for extra child care and housekeeping expenses incurred as a result of the defendant not providing adequate notice. Upon review of the case as well as the defendants rights as an employee the court found that she was not responsible for the costs incurred by the plaintiff. As such the claim was dismissed.
