I work with my clients from the beginning of the case. I am very honest and upfront with what the clients can achieve and what is a fair, reasonable and workable strategy.

They should look for someone they can rely on to put the client's interest first at all times. To ensure that the lawyer is listening and representing the clients wholeheartedly.

It is imperative that the lawyer understands the key players in the justice system. Working with local crown prosecutors and judges, the lawyer can navigate through the case with proper and sound advice to the client.

The basic legal advice such as answers to procedural questions of a case, court date and what to expect at the next court date.

The client's full name, contact information, basic information about ongoing court case, upcoming court dates if any. If it is a family matter, have the proceedings started in court. In a criminal matter, the next court date.

I started my own practice so I can ensure that I am available for all matters for my clients. I go the extra mile to get the work done. I work hard. I can speak Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi and can represent clients whose first language is not English and assist them to navigate the legal system.

When a client wins in court. I find it very rewarding when a client's family law matter resolves and they can move on with their life. Most often clients are confused when they are forced to engage with the court system and find it overwhelming, it gives me satisfaction to know that I can navigate them through the uncertainties and guide them through legal problems in a cost-effective manner. I love it when I hand my clients the settlement cheque at the end of their personal injury matters.

I am a photographer. I love taking portrait pictures and travel photography. I love to travel. I have lived in 4 countries and I have travelled to over 25 countries.

I am very involved in the community. I have been providing free and confidential legal advice at the Calgary Legal Guidance evening clinic at the Centre for Newcomers. I am often providing legal advice. Most recently, I partnered up with Action Dignity and gave a webinar on Accessing legal help during Covid-19. I was featured on CTV (local news) talking about family law and COVID-19.
