Her family law services include divorce, alimony, equitable distribution, Prenuptial Agreements, custody and child support modification, visitation, paternity and family law mediation. She understands that issues effecting family life are difficult and sensitive, and her foremost concern is guiding clients as they make decisions impacting their most private and personal needs and their future of their family and their children. She works with clients to resolve disputed marital issues, contested custody, visitation, and/or paternity of their children. While each case is different, she strives to minimize conflicts through a variety of techniques approved by and even required by the court system, including pretrial settlement discussions and mediation. These methods help minimize conflict and assist clients in amicably settling their case, often while reducing the costs of litigation. However, her foremost goal is to advocate for my clients. In addition to family law, Attorney Cathi V. Chambley also practices personal injury law, assisting those injured in automobile accidents, dog bites, slip-and-falls and other misadventures in getting valuable insurance settlements through negotiating, mediating and at trial.
