About Charlotte
Ms. Rainwater, a native Texan, began what she thought would be a life-long pursuit in the teaching arena after obtaining her B.A. from Sam Houston State University in 1993. After working as a teacher, she decided to go back to school and earned a law degree from South Texas College of Law in 1998. She was admitted to the Bar that year as well.
Ms. Rainwater joined the firm in 1995, became an associate in 1998 and was made partner in 2005. Her practice is devoted solely to the Family Law arena where she is called upon to handle child custody issues, divorces, modifications, adoptions, and an array of family law litigation issues.
Ms. Rainwater is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a member of the Family Law Section. She is also a member of the Texas Association of Family Law Specialists, Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists, The Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, and Texas Family Law Foundation. Ms. Rainwater previously served on the Board of Directors of the Houston Bar Association Family Law Section. She is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
