About Chelsea
A graduate of Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette, AL, I attended Auburn University, graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Sociology focused on Criminology and a minor in psychology. During my time at Auburn, I had the honor of interning at the Lee County Circuit Clerk’s Office, an invaluable experience. I also had the honor of being a member of Pi Lambda Sigma, a pre-law honor society; Tau Beta Sigma, a band service sorority; and Alpha Kappa Delta, a national sociological honor society. In 2019, I graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University. During my time in law school, I served as the treasurer of Faulkner Law’s Young Lawyers and had the pleasure of being a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a national legal fraternity.
Upon graduating and passing the bar, I began my law practice with a solo practitioner in Montgomery, AL. I was lucky to start my practice in a small, private practice because I gained a tremendous amount of hands-on experience in a short matter of time. As a member of the Alabama State Bar, I am admitted to practice in all Alabama Courts. My focus is criminal law, personal injury law, and civil asset forfeiture law. I am admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, fiancé, and stepdaughter. In the Spring of 2021, my fiancé and I decided to move to Mobile to be closer to my family in Bay Minette, AL. I am proud to have joined the Hernandez and Associates Law Firm as a result of this move. I have found that many clients know they have been wronged, but they do not believe one person can make a change. It is my pleasure to show them that the impossible is possible by working their case with diligence and integrity.
