About Christina

Prior to opening her own firm Christina was an associate attorney for Children’s Legal Services, a division within the Department of Children and Families. As an Attorney for the State, she gained invaluable experience in advocacy and trial litigation. Prior to going to law school her first career was in law enforcement where she spent over eight years as a police dispatcher serving two different agencies during her tenure.



Christina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Barry University in Legal Studies before going on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. While in law school Christina had the pleasure of serving as President of Lambda Law and was an active member in the Cuban Bar Association, Black Lawyers Student Association, and the Nova Trial Association.

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

n the past year a matter in which I made a big difference was in a paternity action. The mother and father were unable to agree on the income levels of the father. I was able to assist the Mother by getting income imputed on the father so she was able to start receiving some support for the care of their child.

How did you build a successful practice?

By being committed to resolving matters for my clients as swiftly and cost effectively as possible.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

They should seek out a lawyer who is going to take the time to listen to them and be honest with them as to what is obtainable.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Extremely important, being able to anticipate what the Judge in expects makes the process smoother for everyone.

I need to know if anything has been filed, if there are any pending court dates, and what the perfect outcome for you would be.

I take time to listen and explain the process to my clients. I listen to what they want out of it and I am honest with them as to the likelihood of that outcome.

Knowing I'm able to help make life just a bit easier for my clients.
