About Christopher

Chris was born and raised in the small North Central Ohio village of Crestline. With hard work and sacrifice by his parents, he was the first one of his family to attend and/or graduate college.

Chris received a B.A. in English from Muskingum College in 1986. He received his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in 1989, and upon graduation founded the Spiroff Law Office. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Ohio, including the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Chris is also a member in good standing with the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and Columbus Bar Association Real Property and Bankruptcy Law Committees. He is a proud 2006 graduate of the nationally-renowned Max Gardner Bankruptcy Boot Camp in North Carolina, a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, National Association of Consumer Advocates, a long-term member of the Board of Directors of the Credit Education Coalition, and a long-time member of the Chapter 13 Trustee Liaison Committee. Also, over the years, Chris has spoken to both the state and federal bar members scores of times on a myriad of topics in his field of practice.
