Bill Winters was born in Pennsylvania, grew up in Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida College of Business (1981) and College of Law (1984). Bill has been a personal injury attorney his entire career. Bill has substantial trial experience in a wide variety of cases and has been board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar since 1995.Prior to forming the Winters & Yonker Personal Injury Lawyers law firm, Bill Winters and Marc Yonker had many years of experience at a very large personal injury firm. Daniel Hartpence was born and raised in Fayetteville, Georgia. As the son of a chiropractor and teacher, he was instilled with the drive and motivation necessary to succeed and excel. He went to Starr's Mill High School, then on to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. At Eckerd, Daniel played baseball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Classic History.

Mr. Cruz Carino achieved his Doctor of Jurisprudence, from Stetson University College of Law. Before that, he received his Bachelor of Arts, finishing in the top ten percent of his class, from The University of Florida. He served as a Certified State Intern in the State’s Attorney’s Office, where he tried more than ten cases, and was also privileged to serve as a Federal Judicial Intern to the Honorable District Judge Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Upon graduation, Mr. Cruz worked as a Judicial Staff Attorney for four years in the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court. From there, he served as a Senior Assistant Attorney General from 2001-2012, handling criminal appeals and collateral petitions on behalf of the State of Florida. Mr. Cruz has argued before the Second District Court of Appeal, the Fifth District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, and is also admitted to practice in the Middle District of Florida. He is fluent in Spanish, and has taught as an adjunct professor at Saint Petersburg College. He currently heads the Appellate Section of The Pendas Law Firm and is the (interim) Managing Attorney for the Tampa office. He oversees all appellate matters and provides litigation support to attorneys throughout the firm. Additionally, he handles his own litigation case load. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, appeals and trial support. Mr. Cruz guides all appeals from the filing of a notice of appeal through the filing of a motion to recall mandate.

I have successfully handled cases throughout Central Florida, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee, and Sarasota Counties and I know both sides of the conflict. After graduating from law school with honors from Mercer University in 1993, my first job was with a firm that handled lawsuits on behalf of insurers. I was mentored in and taught the strategies and tactics of the defense. As I gained that experience, I came to realize that I was on the wrong side of the struggle. I made the most rewarding move of my career when I joined the Plaintiff’s bar and began helping victims in their fight to recover from their losses. While I have never looked back, I believe that the knowledge I gained representing my now adversary, gives me valuable insight and perspective in overcoming the obstacles and roadblocks the insurance lawyers raise. Recently, I resolved a wrongful death/medical malpractice matter where the total settlement value of the case exceeded $1.4 million. I am also active in the Tampa Bay community. I presently serve as the Chairman of the board of directors for a Tampa based non-profit, Wheels for Success. I have served on that board for five years. Wheels of Success is an organization that provides transportation in the form of donated cars to persons who have a job but cannot afford to purchase a car to get there. I was also a past board member of the Young Lawyer Board for the Florida Justice Association where I assisted in the FJA's activities of fighting for the rights of injured Floridians. I was a member of the Cheatwood Inn of Court from 2010-2011 and 2013-2016 and am presently a member of the Wm Reece Smith, Jr. Litigation Inn of Court.

Grady R. Jorgensen is Sharon Jorgensen's oldest son. He attended St. Petersburg Catholic High School where he played football and basketball and helped lead the basketball team to the state tournament three consecutive years. He graduated in 2006 and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 2010 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida A&M College of Law. Throughout high school, college, and law school Grady worked as a legal assistant with the firm. Additionally, while attending law school Grady worked as a law clerk for Kass Shuler law firm working in the bankruptcy and foreclosure department. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar, he has zealously represented the rights of our injured clients. Grady is dedicated to our clients in all practice areas and uses his experience and expertise to provide effective representation to clients through Personal Injury litigation, Social Security Disability hearings, and at the Office of the Judge of Compensation Claims in Workers' Compensation cases. He is also a Founding Friend of the Patrick Brett Foundation, member of The St. Petersburg Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, Workers Compensation Law Section of the Florida Bar, and the Young Lawyers Section of the St. Petersburg Bar Association. Outside the office, Grady enjoys spending time with his Fiancée and their two dogs, Brooks and Hampton. His hobbies include snow skiing, golfing, boating, snorkeling/diving, traveling throughout and cheering on his alma mater Florida State University, as well as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Cubs.

Katelynn Gibbons is the eldest daughter of partner, E. Lynn Gibbons. In elementary school, Katie routinely reminded her Mom of the annual, "Take Your Daughters To Work Day". Some of her fondest childhood memories are of traveling to courthouses across the state at Lynn’s side through the years. Witnessing her mother's passion for justice and compassion for other people firsthand at a young age has had a lasting effect on her. She first started working at Jorgensen Gibbons, P.A. over the summer in middle school when she wasn't playing basketball. Katie graduated from St. Petersburg Catholic High School in 2012 and she earned a B.A. degree, Magna Cum Laude, in psychology from the University of South Florida in 2014. Between college and law school, she worked as the workers’ compensation paralegal at the firm. Since day one, she has treated the firm's clients as if they were family. In the Fall of 2015, she followed in her Mom's footsteps and started law school at Stetson University College of Law - a few blocks away from the firm. The proximity allowed her to continue working part-time at JG while she was in law school. She graduated a semester early and earned her J.D. from Stetson in December of 2017. Today, Katie works as an Associate Attorney for Jorgensen Gibbons, P.A., handling personal injury, workers' compensation, and social security disability cases. In her free time she enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling to watch her baby brother, Dillan, play football for the Florida State Seminoles.

Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney Lee Gunn focuses his practice of law upon the prosecution of cases involving substantial losses in the State of Florida. These cases frequently involve wrongful death and serious injuries to patients victimized by medical malpractice, defective products, and construction accidents. He also prosecutes direct and bad faith insurance claim dispute actions against insurance companies. Often these cases involve hurricane and other property owner claims where an insurer refuses to pay fully, fairly and promptly. Before representing plaintiffs, Lee defended insurance companies, hospitals, product manufacturers and other large corporations from 1983 until 2000.
