Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I make a difference in my clients' lives every day by walking them through a difficult process, listening to them and being available, and by providing expert legal service in criminal cases based on over six years experience in private practice in the local courts.

How did you build a successful practice?

We are located in beautiful Olde Towne East in a historical home. We provide competent and compassionate legal services in a variety of issues with a focus on criminal defense law, Felony defense, Federal and Ohio law, gun, drugs, judicial release, expungement, OVI/traffic, juvenile defense, election law, and creditor harassment. We proudly serve our diverse community.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Clients should look for an attorney who is reliable and repsonsive to them, who picks up their phone calls and is available. The number one complaint of clients is that the lawyer will not return their phone calls or is unavailable. At our firm, we strive to provide excellent customer service as well as excellent legal services.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Having a knowledge of local Courts, Judges, and Attorneys is important to get a good outcome n your case. We are located in Columbus Ohio and have built strong relationships at the Franklin County Courts. We are knowledgeable in local practices and are qualified to practice in Courts all around Ohio.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I can provide basic information about the next steps in your case and general pricing information for similar cases. I can set up an appointment to meet with you to hear more and open your case. I cannot give detailed legal advice over the phone, nor can an attorney ethically guarantee results.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

I need your name, address, phone number, email address, emergency contact info, type of case/violation, date of hearing, and method of payment.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

I am a social justice activist and I am involved in many social causes that impact my neighbors, clients, and community. I fight for justice in the Courts, on a political level, and at the ground level.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

I really appreciate good clients who appreciate my work, compensate me well for a job well done and who tell their friends about how I helped them. I put a lot of work into my cases and into helping clients, so I love it when my hard work is appreciated and I get paid. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is that I often get to directly keep my clients from going to jail or prison. I enjoy being a protector of the rights given to us in the Constitution.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I am a supporter of the music, arts and entertainment community in Columbus, Ohio. I enjoy physical fitness activities such as biking, trapeze, yoga, dance, and boxing. I love vegetarian food and I support locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, and small businesses.

Are you involved in your community?
