Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Using the knowledge and skills I gained from representing big businesses and insurance companies early in my legal career, I have been able to use that unique litigation experience obtaining great settlements and results for my clients in cases where the insurance companies were not will to pay or only offer minimal amounts.
How did you build a successful practice?
I believe in working directly with my client's during their case so I am selective on who I will represent. I always take the time to explain the process to my client so they can make informed decisions throughout their case.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
A client should look for a lawyer that will treat them as a human being going through a challenging time in their life. Make sure your lawyer listens to you and offers a clear path to prosecute your case. Most law firms will give you promises but you may never get a chance to speak to a lawyer.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Understanding which court or which judges will be hearing your case is extremely important. An attorney should know which courts are sympathetic to the injured worker and which courts are not. Having your case filed in the wrong court or set before the wrong judge can be disastrous to your case. I have been litigating cases in Orange County and throughout the surrounding counties for over 18 years so I know which courts and which judges I want for my clients.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I am happy to discuss the case facts and if there is a workers' compensation case supported by the facts. I will also let the potential client know if I would be willing to accept them as a client or if they should reach out to another law firm.

I would like to know information about the incident along with the employer's name and if any documents were given or sent to you by the employer or insurance company following the incident.
