About David
David R. Dye has been practicing law in Lancaster since 2002. Mr. Dye earned a J.D. degree from Widener University in 2001 and a B.A in Theology from De Sales University, Allentown, in 1984. Since earning his bachelor degree, Mr. Dye has served as a Catholic high school teacher and lay youth minister. While living in the Lehigh Valley, Mr. Dye was active with Pennsylvanians for Human Life. He ran for the State House of Representatives in 1992 running as a conservative pro-life candidate. Mr. Dye pursued a law degree in 1997 in order to better impact public policy issues in Pennsylvania with his Christian faith. Mr. Dye has worked with the Harrisburg law firm, Ball, Murren and Connell. During his tenure with that firm he helped address many social and public policy issues of concern the Catholic Bishops of Pennsylvania and Catholic Church nationally by assisting with drafting briefs and legislation. In 2002 Mr. Dye attended the Alliance Defense Fund's National Litigation Academy. As an allied attorney, Mr. Dye has assisted in writing briefs to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court challenging a city ordinance granting special rights to homosexuals. Mr. Dye served as a prosecutor for the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office. As an Assistant District Attorney he was assigned to General Case Prosecution Unit, the Domestic Violence Unit and the Felony Drug Prosecution Unit. Mr. Dye joined Clymer, Musser, Brown & Conrad, P.C. in October, 2006; his practice focuses on personal injury litigation, civil rights litigation and family law issues such as PFA's, child custody and divorce. Attorney Dye has been the lead counsel or co-counsel in numerous First Amendment cases around the country representing people whose civil rights have been violated. He has helped victims of police abuse get the compensation they deserve and to hold the police accountable for violating people's civil rights. Currently, Mr. Dye lives in Berks County with his lovely wife and their ten children.
