introduction
Mr. Ronald began his legal career as a staff attorney with Maricopa County Legal Aid in 1974, practicing in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, paternity actions, adoptions, child support, child relocation and alimony (or spousal maintenance) disputes. Mr. Ronald has expertise resolving family law matters involving abuse and domestic violence that arise in a family law dispute, from his experience litigating criminal cases during his years of law practice in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
Mr. Ronald was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended high school in New Jersey. He received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University Law School in New Jersey in 1973, and a BA from West Virginia University University in 1968. He is admitted to practice law in Arizona, and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona. Mr. Ronald is also admitted to practice before Arizona state and federal courts, the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals for the Second, and Ninth Circuits and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for Arizona.
Mr. Ronald has served as the President of the Maricopa County Industrial Development Authority. He has taught at Arizona State University and The University of Phoenix. He has also served as association counsel for the Recreation Centers of Sun City West and the Property Owners and Residents Association of Sun City West (PORA).
Mr. Ronald served in the United States Army in Viet Nam. Between 1968 and 1970 and earned a Bronze Star. He has lived in Arizona for over thirty years, and has four grown children.
