About David
David received his Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University in Biology and History in 1962 and his Juris Doctor from De Paul University College of Law in 1967. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of Illinois; the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, David was a trust administrator at the Chicago Loop Bank and the American National Bank & Trust Company. He gained extensive experience in the areas of Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate Administration. David joined Kavanagh, Scully, Sudow, White & Frederick, P.C. as an Associate in 1968 and added Public School Law to his practice. This area includes general administration policy, special education, and labor and personnel matters on behalf of the school boards, administrators, and special school associations. He became a Member of the Firm in 1970.
David and his family has lived in Peoria since 1968. He is active in both the Peoria County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association along with numerous other professional organizations within his practice area and not-for-profit community organizations and charities.
