About Denise
Denise James graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2000. Denise also concurrently received a Master's Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine's nationally recognized Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution in 2000, ranked number one by U.S. News and World Report.
Throughout law school, Denise served internships for the Tulsa County District Attorney, the National Association of Securities Dealers in Los Angeles and California Lawyers for the Arts in Santa Monica. Denise was also heavily involved in volunteering and community outreach through Pepperdine University's Center for Community Development and Service.
As well as being a member in good standing of The State Bar of Oklahoma, Denise is also a member in good standing of the State Bar of California. She currently practices in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, defamation/slander, wrongful termination and civil rights law.
Denise is an active member of many charitable organizations, which includes serving as a volunteer for Tulsa's Animal Welfare Division. Her name is engraved upon the Wall of Tolerance at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Southern California for leading the way toward a more just America and she is forever honored in the Marquis Who's Who Among American Women.
