Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I stopped an oppressive two year Sheriff's Office investigation for a client based on false allegations effectively terminating the investigation. My juvenile client's prosecution was dropped by State Attorney's Office.
How did you build a successful practice?
I built a successful practice by being an expert in my field, communicating with my clients and custom tailoring every defense strategy for each of my clients' unique cases on an individual basis.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for a lawyer who not only knows the law cold in that specific subject area of the law in which their legal matter pertains,( for instance: DUI and traffic tickets, Juvenile Delinquency, Criminal Defense, Domestic Violence) and who is an expert in litigating such matters in court and who is familiar with those courts and the judges who preside over those courts; but very importantly, who communicates with his clients, keeping them abreast of every development in their case and who personally answers their telephone calls and questions promptly and faithfully; a lawyer who really cares for his clients as people and who fights tooth and nail for his clients leaving no stone unturned efforting on their behalf.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Every judge and every county is different. Being a criminal defense attorney who is respected by and tuned in to each judge's particular requirements, likes and dislikes and who knows the nuances of the local rules of each county greatly strengthens the cause of my clients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is knowing, with absolute certainty, that I have provided the best possible custom-tailored representation for each client's unique individual needs.
