About Edward
Edward F. Wiest is an associate in the firm. Mr. Wiest focuses his practice on probate law and estate planning. As a member of the AARP Legal Services Network, Mr. Wiest specializes in helping seniors achieve their goals employing a range of tools designed to preserve and eventually transfer their assets while avoiding unnecessary taxation and court fees.
Mr. Wiest has practiced in the public and private sector. Previously, Mr. Wiest served as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Michigan. Mr. Wiest conducted contested case hearings for the State Department of Administrative Hearings in areas as diverse as Corrections and Special Education. On December 31, 2005, the Executive Director of the State Office of Hearings and Rules issued a Certificate of Recognition lauding the standard of excellence set by Mr. Wiest in conducting administrative hearings on behalf of the State of Michigan.
