About Elisa
Ms. Reinsmith concentrates her practice in the areas of labor and employment law; non-competition, non-solicitation and non-disclosure enforcement; and healthcare and life science.
Ms. Reinsmith represents management in labor and employment law matters. Her experience includes defending claims involving discrimination, sexual harassment, wage & hour laws, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ms. Reinsmith drafts and reviews restrictive covenants to determine enforceability and negotiates and reviews employment contracts. She represents employers during union organizing campaigns and collective bargaining negotiations. She also regularly counsels employers on workplace issues and represents management in federal and state courts, as well as before state and local agencies.
Ms. Reinsmith is a contributing author to the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law treatise on The Family and Medical Leave Act. She has also contributed to articles on the Older Worker Benefit Protection Act, whistleblower laws various wage and hour issues, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
Ms. Reinsmith previously practiced in New York City at a labor and employment law firm. Ms. Reinsmith is licensed to practice in New York, Texas and Missouri.
