Eric E. Bononi, Attorney

Educational & Professional Background

As an undergraduate, Eric attended the University of Notre Dame, where he received his accounting degree. He then went on to Ohio Northern University and earned his law degree at the Claude A. Pettit School of Law.

As an attorney, Eric practices primarily in the areas of tax law, estate planning and administration, corporate law, real estate law, bankrruptcy, and civil litigation. As a CPA, he offers a complete range of accounting services for both individual and corporate clients. Eric is pleased to note that more than 50% of the firm's clients utilize both legal and accounting services.

Eric is a member of both the Pennsylvania and Westmoreland Bar Associations as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also has the distinct honor of being a U.S. Bankruptcy Trustee, a government position requiring an extensive FBI background check. He teaches at both the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and Westmoreland Community College, and is also a frequent lecturer.

Community Involvement & Volunteer Activities

Eric sits on the board of 1st Summit Bancorp and is also a member of Excela Health's Hospital Foundation Board. He serves as board president for the Westmoreland-Fayette Boy Scout Council. He is also a trustee of Dante Aleghieri (an Italian-American organization), a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, and a long-term member of the Greensburg Rotary. Eric also sits on the board of the Greensburg-Uniontown Notre Dame Alumni Club.
