Based on my experience with this firm, their name should be empathy, compassion and brilliance. Their kindness and attention to detail was second to none. Although I worked with both Paul Simonson and Ted Goodman, much of my interaction was with Paul. He genuinely cares about the people he is representing. His calm, gentle and professional demeanor was beyond helpful. The combination of Ted and Paul is one that cannot be improved upon as they both have qualities of phenomenal attorneys and their unique style compliments the other. They both bring positive attributes and knowledge to the table. I truly cannot say enough good things about Paul, Ted and this firm. The gratitude I feel towards them is immeasurable.

In late 2017 I had a botched appendectomy that led to a follow-up surgery due to infection. I was connected to Simonson, Goodman and Platzer through a friend and from our first phone call I felt comfortable and supported. They were honest and clear about the process of bringing a lawsuit forward, and managed my expectations of how long it might take if a settlement was awarded. I was pleased to hear from them in April of 2019 that they had reached a settlement agreement, but that they felt it was too low. After working with them, the settlement was raised by $100K, which they advised me to accept, and I did. By August of 2019, I received my settlement amount, minus the fees for their service. This experience has taken something deeply traumatic, and which left a very nasty, lifelong scar, and turned it into an opportunity to heal both physically and emotionally. I highly recommend their services.
