Avoid using Diane Prevete as your attorney. I retained her to protect my interests and she failed miserably. She was retained for a simple residential closing and missed a significant component of the purchase; namely that I was to have beach access rights. This valuable right was clearly mentioned in the contract of sale as well as the title report - which she clearly didnt bother to read. As a result, the access rights were left off the deed. I now have to retain new counsel to amend the deed. As a further insult, when this was brought to her attention, she saw fit to attempt to charge me an additional $700.00 to correct her mistake.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you EVER hire this law firm. They represented me during my matrimonial case, and billed me over $200,000 without resolving any issues. My case involved over 100 adjournments. Then, they placed a lien on my case file, prejudicing my case. Ironically, I hired another attorney who resolved the issues in my case without a single piece of paper from their precious file... in a very efficient manner. Finally, this firm drove me into bankruptcy, where they appeared and opposed ANY adjournments after allowing an unreasonable amount of adjournments at my expense while they were representing me. This firm is way more aggressive attempting to collect their fees, when representing themselves, than they are aggressive when representing their clients. There are many other law firms out there... I'd be very careful when dealing with this firm. Do yourself a favor, start looking for another firm if you need legal services.
We have been utilizing their services for estate purposes and they have been great.
