This clinic is severely lacking in competent personnel. The endocrinologist that I saw was practicing from a textbook. I am not in her textbook and she needed to listen to me. Not happening she was going to follow the textbook. She told me about three lab tests that she was going to run, never explained the reason for the TESTS or how much they were going to cost. She also ran more than three tests. I find out I now have a 1100.00 balance with these thieves. I could have gone to an independent lab, had the test run and paid 75 % less than BAYLOR SCOTT and WHITE. Not to mention that one of the test the ADA recommends not running on someone unless they are in a research study. One test was run 3 times at a cost of 229.00 dollars, same test, same CPT code but no explanation as to why. I FIRED this incompetent doctor. And Baylor Scott and White is not going to do thing one about it. But I will hit Social Media on every channel and tell people to stay away from these scammers. And I will call customer service everyday and continue voicing my complaint. If you care about your health avoid this group.
McKinney Location I wouldn’t give this hospital 1 star. My husband and was brought in by the ambulance due to him losing conscious while at our home. When we arrived at this place (that they call a hospital) they didn’t even have a bed for his. They sat him up in a chair while taking his vitals. He was shirtless and not one time did they offer him a blanket. He asked the RN Ashley A if the chair he was sitting in could recline because he was getting dizzy again. She didn’t say anything just looked at him as if she didn’t know how to respond to a black man. Then a blonde haired female (who they refused to give me her name) came in and instantly started being rude. They told us that he’s going to have to go sit in the waiting area. I asked if there was anywhere for him to lay down and what happens if he passes out again since he’s still unable to sit up. Ashley A response was he’ll be sitting down. Very rude. Then the blonde haired female started getting an attitude with me. Because I told her my husband will be in the car until someone could see him. Her reply was if he leaves the waiting room they won’t see him. We started going back and forth. I said I’ll just take him out of here and she said “Do That and I don’t care. It’s your decision.” Ashley A said all the hospitals are busy. I asked her if she worked for all the hospitals too. She said she has friends that work there. The blonde haired female just stood there looking at my husband not trying to help him get up. I told her to move if she’s not going to help. I wheeled my husband to the lobby area until my son went to get the car. They had the nerve to call security as if I was irate. Those 2 females were getting rude and had the audacity to call the charge nurse Kira who never came out but instantly called them because we were black. This hospital has a 2.8 ratings because of their staff. I’m not going to say they are racist towards black people. But I’m sure am going to say we were mistreated. I left a message for someone to call me so I can make a complaint. This has got to stop. Baylor need to completely start over with new staff members before they get sued. I don’t wish this type of treatment on anyone. No matter what race, gender, or age they are. Please pull video footage and ask security if i was being irate. I told security I didn’t make any threats and I only got loud with the blonde haired female when she got loud with me. I’ll be going above their pay grade to get to the bottom of this. If you or one of your family members are sick. Please go to Medical City of McKinney. Great place. Great staff. And my husband was seen right away. Look at their reviews compared to Baylor. This incident happened the morning of 12.23.23.
Why are you advertising, best medical care on tv!! Patients that you already have can not get in to see any any any Dr !! It’s takes 2 months to get in to see even your primary doctor. They offer 1 only 1 clinic for walk-in which some patients have to drive 45 minutes to get there to be told we only accept so many walk-in patients and they are full!! Wellmed a small medical office accepts walk-in at any given time and that’s why I changed clinic!!!!!
If you have a choice of Hospitals, Please don’t go here. Daughter admitted to ER, which was dirty, unkempt, cramped and overall unpleasant. They performed many unnecessary diagnostics 2-3 times. Half of the doctors we saw, indicated she could be discharged by EOD, for an arrival around 12:00 Noon. Then others wanted to keep overnight for “observation” (code word for Cha-Ching, we can milk the insurance company for more. The first room was a hotbox. My wife had to sleep on metal chairs. I called the next morning to find out when she would be discharged. No one seems to know anything!
Alessandra A Dunn was the worst recruiter I've ever had. Applied for a position, went in for an onsite interview and she (ghosted) failed to communicate with me and it took until 2 months to receive a rejection letter....far after i accepted a new role already!!! Real name tucked away for confidentiality
