Implementing court orders can be difficult ? especially in a high-conflict divorce. I contacted Jane from a recommendation from my previous lawyer who stepped away from family law. Jane listened to my situation and its complexity - and began to work right away. My former partner had attempted to make changes to our court order that would have significantly impacted the time I have with my child. Jane was truly prepared for the fight in court- by reviewing the existing court order, the current law, and deconstructing our opposition's motion. I was impressed with Jane in court. She was professional, confident, quoted multiple family law codes on the spot, and was prepared in anticipating what the opposing counselor would do. Jane has a strong command of the legal process and theory/practice of law. In the end, Jane was instrumental in securing that no modifications were made to the court order, by presenting to the court that the requests were not in the best interest of our daughter nor were they legal. Jane and her team are extremely professional and were very compassionate throughout the process. I felt the fees for Jane and her team to represent me were appropriate for a lawyer with her experience and the complexity of my case. I felt assured and comfortable working with Jane - knowing that she had the best interest of my child in mind and would fight on my behalf for my rights and for my child. I am truly grateful for everything Jane and her team have done for my family.

I would recommend Jane Binder without hesitation and in fact I have done so several times. I have known Jane for a number of years and her guidance has been invaluable. She is compassionate, understanding, readily available and extremely knowledgable. She has been an advocate for both my child and for me. I actually do not think a short review on google can do her justice - if you need an outstanding expert in family law you will be in excellent hands with Jane and her team.

Jane is a consummate legal and business professional. She represented my husband in his divorce as well as his ex's subsequent attempt years later to modify and increase her temporary award of spousal maintenance. While I was not privy to the divorce proceedings (which were more than fair to the ex), I was intimately involved in the modification proceeding. nnAt all times, Jane handled herself with not only compassion, but also represented my husband zealously and professionally, even when opposing counsel attempted time and again to engage in questionable tactics. Jane took the high road through the pendency of the proceedings. She has an impeccable recall of facts and a strong and deep knowledge of the law. nnHer counsel and advice to both my husband and myself throughout the process was collaborative and valuable beyond belief. She always made time for us and our questions. Her writing style and quality of her pleadings are exceptional. She is able to convey her client's position to the court in an extremely succinct and articulate manner. nnHer performance in mediation and at hearing was nothing short of spectacular. It was clear from the outset of the hearing that she is seasoned and well versed. She came to court prepared and was not able to be flustered by any question asked by the judge. She was able to back up her statements with facts, evidence and law - items crucial to a winning case.nnShe treats all parties - her client, opposing counsel, the adversary and the court - with the utmost of courtesy and professionalism, which is absolutely crucial in the practice of law. nnIt is also clear that she is very well respected in the legal community as I observed by her interactions with individuals both at mediation and hearing. nnI wish to note that even if we had not been successful on our case, I would still be writing this review - I believe this strongly in Jane's abilities. nnHighly recommend - without hesitation!

It's tough to recommend Ms Jane Binder. Our divorce case was complex with a long marriage, children, business and personal assets. However the pit bull approach of Ms Binder Only resulted in large invoices at big bill rates for Ms Binder. This did not result in a resolution that ether party came out feeling good about. There should have been more effort made by Binder to get result through mediation and use of common sense. Scare tactics and attorney letters don't produce result, but a win-win approach does.

My experience with Jane Binder was extremely poor. My divorce was very expensive, during the process Jane was dispassionate about the process. She represented me, but more as a facilitator than an advocate. After the divorce was final, my ex appealed the divorce. During the process I called routinely to see if the judge ruling was in. During this time I was charged by Jane for each follow up and advised by her to keep paying bills until the judge ruled. Months after the hearing, Jane called with good news / bad news. The good news was the judged ruled in my favor. The bad news is her office misplaced the notification, which came in less then two weeks after the hearing. The mistake cost me 10's of thousands of dollars. Jane reluctantly waived $200 in her fees, but would not reimburse me for the legal fees I incurred during her mistake or any of the expenses to my ex.nnBeware - she's expensive and doesn't hold herself accountable.
