Blair C Strain PC

Our mortgage company hired Blair Strain, PC to do our refinance. We were charged separate attorney fee, closing fee, notary fee, and search fee by Blair Strain PC and were still told we needed to come up with our own witness for the notarization of the documents. We never met nor spoke to anyone at the law firm which is fine, but if we are getting charged $250 for notary and $200 for a closing fee in addition to the $550 for attorney and search fee it seems like it should come with the mandatory witness. I asked if we could just sign our stuff at the local UPS store where for $25 we could have the notary and witness but we were told no. Instead we pay the $450 for notary and closing and begged one of our neighbors to leave work and help us out. The notary said many firms provide a witness but this one does not.

They were are closing attorney. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend them.
