I was not a client due to lack of wanting to work with the presented case. She seemed to have dismissed us immediately, yet was willing to take a $2500.00 retainer if we had decided to go with this office. Luckily went back to Robin Reno, paid HALF THE RETAINER and got EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED. Thanks, for your reply, dropped your rating yet another star.

I paid a retainer and was told if my case did not go to court( which it did not) that I would more than likely get some of my money back. Before my case even went to the mediator I was charged enough to pretty much max out my retainer. Jessica overcharged me for our first meeting, that she was 20-25 minutes late for because of another meeting. Than during my time talking to her she stated theirs no magic number in which a child can live with the other parent, so I go online and lo and behold California law states that when a child is 14, the child may go in front of court to state their case on why they would like to move. I felt she was biased towards moms and I was left out of the loop while she tried talking to my exes attorney. Even though I was paying her to request what I wanted, she negated that and did her own thing. When I called her out on it she became defensive and rude. Money definitely not spent well. I wish I had went with a different attorney.

To say that this attorney is amazing is an understatement. Jessica Dorn from Borton Petrini LLP has been through some pretty tough situations with our family. Jessica took the time to really get to know our family and guide us to do what was best for our granddaughter. We have dealt with some attorney's and always felt like they were overcharging us or not invested in us. We never felt this way with Jessica and her law firm, from the front desk to Jessica. They were always detailed and fair. Jessica even took a Saturday out of her busy family schedule to assist us in a tough situation. I could always count on her either answering my calls, emails or texts. It was nice to know she had our back always and felt like a friend when dealing with her. I Can honestly say I had an amazing experience. One of the hardest things for me is being understood. Legal matters can be quite overwhelming and my experience was not what I expected. My attorney was extremely professional. She listened and understood. Other attorneys wouldnu2019t listen long enough or cut you short because they hear only what they want to hear. That was not the case here. My attorney listened to me and understood me entirely. This helped make my case very easy to handle. I was always updated and never had a hard time contacting her.
