These guys are horrible. I had a hearing for a foreclosure. I showed up with the clerk that day and Brock and Scott's attorney for my hearing was not present. They had another attorney from the firm there for other hearings so the clerk grabbed her. She did not have the case files so we all just adjourned. Two weeks later I get more notices from the Sheriff with a new foreclosure hearing. Brock and Scott then sent a bill for the foreclosure hearing and Sheriff delivery to my loan company. I called Brock and Scott, left a voice mail and three months later have never received a call back. My mortgage company did reverse the charges. During each hearing the Brock and Scott attorneys never would use a verbal word. They would only shake their head yes or no. How unprofessional is that. I'm sending this to the NC Bar Association so they can get attention.
These guys are as sleazy and lazy as they come. They define everything that's wrong with their line of work. A woman was going through foreclosure who we were assisting with the process. We got information from their secretary, Tina, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional that differed from that of Benjamin, a lawyer who was intentionally avoiding contact, and when we were finally able to get through, had a temper tantrum about it. We almost were unable to assist the aforementioned woman with her situation, but luckily were able to despite the stonewalling that occurred by this unethical practice. Someone should notify the bar.
That's a Grande Secret...
