I previously deleted a negative review that I had initially written upon discovering Mr. Plexico's unethical behavior. In a case filed against my wife and me in Richland County, South Carolina, Mr. Plexico represented us without our knowledge or consent. He was retained by my insurance company on my behalf during a global settlement agreement. It is crucial to note that Mr. Plexico was only authorized to represent me during the proceedings as my wife was not covered under the policy. Despite this, Mr. Plexico maintains otherwise. However, the insurance company provided me with a copy of his retention letter, clearly stating that his representation was solely for myself. The case in South Carolina was filed more than a year later, and one would expect that Mr. Plexico, having been retained during the global settlement, would have remained in contact with his client. Unfortunately, he allowed the opposing counsel to draft the final judgment, which contained various inaccuracies that he did not address. It is evident that Mr. Plexico did not act in the best interest of his client. In response to these ethical concerns, I have filed an ethics complaint against Mr. Plexico. This is only the first step in addressing his unethical behavior.
