Cawley & Bergmann, Llp

Submitted concern of CB phoning me four times daily and not responding to questions of what they were calling about. CB rep never identified as calling about any known debt, just wanted to know if I was more and would not answer any questions. So this so called law center rep says that I have to identify myself first( which I did twice). The rep then wrote “I’m 100% accurate” followed by “I don’t think you have a case.” This rep is 100% no help and a waste of time, that’s about it. Minus zero stars for this one for accuracy; one star is justice.

I’m disappointed that I can’t give a negative star rating! I’m on disability and live on a very limited, fixed income. This month they took a double payment, essentially 25% of my monthly income. I have been trying to pay off my debts little by little to fulfill my responsibilities, even though I have very little income. I called to inform them of the “mistake” on their part and to allow them to return my money that I had not authorized to be withdrawn. I was informed that before I could get my money returned, I would have to prove that it was already withdrawn with a copy of my bank statement! ???? then it would take 10 days for a check to be written and mailed to me! I said that they needed to return my money as quickly as they took it. She told me that since next month’s payment would be the final payment, I should just clear my account now since they already have my money. So, in order for me to pay my housing and utilities this month I won’t be able to pay for my medications. I will be reporting them to the BBB and to my bank as thieves that accessed my account illegally. I will do everything in my power to make them pay. Now I have a project for the month, while I’m in excruciating pain and withdrawal symptoms. Should be really nice to deal with! Avoid this company at all costs!

I own $400 from other place, and I usually call them and make the payment with in 5 minutes, but they told me Cawley and Bergman bought all their accounts, so I called Cawley Bergmann to make the payment. The lady on the phone was so rude, and kept making mistakes, I told her my card number 2 times, and she still can’t get it, she at least ask my name 5 times. And don’t know how to spell street and city name. Ended up took me 30 minutes on the phone. Not everyone own debt deserve to be treated awful!!

Called me & wouldn’t tell me why…but wanted my personal information. With all the scams out here? I THINK NOT! USPS works just find.

They Relentlessly call once an hour and are EXTREMELY rude! I am a permanently disabled person and in complete Kidney Failure who’s on Dialysis 3 days a week. Because of this I’m on Social Security and behind on everything financially and will unfortunately be until the day that I move on, but Cawley & Bergmann don’t care because all they want is “Money” and could care less about what’s going on with you and your family!! Horrible business and the people that work there! It is so very obvious that the 5 star reviews that’s on Google is from people that work or have worked there, think about it who in their right mind would ever give a Debt Collection Company a 5 star review! I’m truly sorry that I don’t have money nor will I ever so you might as well move on because you can’t get blood from a stone!!!
