I'm honestly in shock about about poorly they treat their clients. After my business was finished with them they sent me a final invoice stating I had a credit on my account of over $300. I wanted them to return the credit to me, since we were officially done working with them. I called several times throughout the month of January and no one returned my call. At this point I became really frustrated and emailed the attorney I was working with previously to see if he could get someone to call me back. Another week went by, no call back. Finally at the beginning of February I got a hold of the office manager. She was incredibly rude and didn't seem to care about holding onto my money or the fact that I had been trying to get a hold of her for the past month. She claimed I never called, but I left messages and I have records of the calls I made to the office. At this point I requested to speak with Mr. Chandler himself in order to get to the bottom of things, since it's his firm and he should be aware of the serious issues I had. I was completely shocked to find he was also incredibly rude and dismissive. There was no apology, and he was bothered that I kept pressing this issue. He ended the phone call, upset, stating he would send the check out that afternoon. When I finally received the correspondence in the mail, I was appalled to find the firm had "invoiced" me for the complaint email I had sent, as well as my phone call with the office. The only reason I had to contact them in the first place was because they ignored my calls! So they left me with absolutely nothing - they said it cost over $300 to "review my account" and return an email, which absorbed the entire credit I had with them. I thought I could trust them to do business ethically and yet they seemed to take away my credit in retaliation for my complaints (which were completely justified). This is inexcusable and the public needs to be aware of how this firm treats their clients. I'm disgusted with the pettiness of their actions and I hope no one else has to deal with this.
I almost didn't go to Chandler because of a poor Yelp review, but I did because he was referred by the Riverside Bar Association and I was only going for a one-time meeting to get some real estate advice on an easement. My neighbor and I (who went together) were amazed at his knowledge and expertise. He helped us so much that we left his office feeling almost giddy. Also, the referral is only for the first half-hour of the meeting. Chandler gave us his opinion clearly and concisely, and even though we went over 10 minutes or so, he did not charge us extra. It was one of the best lawyer/client meetings I have ever had.
He originally said he would fight our case. We had a strong case, he could help my mom get child support and spousal support. He ended up dropping both and said it would be better if we settled out of court. My mom had to put in her case for child support, once that happened, he and the other attorney were trying to convince her to drop it. He tried to drop us as clients at some point, but the judge didn't allow it. Also, we had to go to court and he said he couldn't help. Overall, not a great experience and my family & I had to resolve our own case.
He didn’t fight for me, it’s 2022 my case was from 2009. The company against me said they tried to contact me Spence 2015 eleven time. , I newer received anything ! In the end Chandler told me I didn’t have proof . What about there proof that they did? Wouldn’t use Chandler again! to passive!!
I was referred to Robert by another legal provider. Our business needed serious legal advice and possibly defense. Robert ended putting us into contact with the right people at at another firm which saved us thousands of dollars in legal fees! I have seen a few of these other reviews, but I can only speak as to what I have experienced. Success!
