It was supposed to be an amicable divorce initiated by my ex-wife. It became clear that she wanted to set the financial terms based on what she thought was right. David was always calm and took some of the emotional elements out of the mix and focused me on the real terms. He was nonetheless a good listener and showed empathy while guiding me through the legal process. He shared with me some of facts he would have presented to a judge had the amicable process gone awry. But all in all David worked hard at moving a difficult process through to its conclusion with minimal acrimony. If you are looking to grind an axe I don't think he is the guy for you! Otherwise I would highly recommend him to anyone going through the inherently difficult and emotional challenging process of ending a union while minimizing the collateral damages. He will make the tough journey that much easier. He is really a good guy and a good attorney!

David defended me against a non-compete claim in which the plaintiffs tried to claim that my accumulated industry expertise, as well as material that can be learned from any undergraduate Computer Science curriculum, were protected trade secrets. I worked closely with David to rebut these claims; I was impressed with David's ability to assimilate complex technical information I provided, and use it to formulate legal arguments that demolished the plaintiff's claims. In my position as an out of work geek who was being sued, I was also very happy with David's cost-effective and collaborative work; this helped me exit the process with my wallet and my confidence in good order.

Divorce isn’t easy. It’s emotional, it’s draining and it’s complicated. We have one daughter that was pretty much stuck in the middle of all of this along with a pretty complicated financial situation due in part to the fact that I am a large shareholder in a small privately held family business. David had it all together, so frankly, I didn’t have to. He was the level headed one. If I had an emotional breakdown, which happened, he helped me work through it. David also understood the workings of a small closely held business. That helped a ton. He got it. He got the fact that if you drain the business of cash there will be no money to go around. David and I ran a three year marathon together, and I appreciate all that he did.

David is well-spoken and has a very strong presence in the courtroom. His preparation is outstanding and I would recommend him to anyone looking for legal representation due to his intelligence, experience, and knowledge of the court system.
