Where do I begin. David West and his team took over an incredibly complex case from another attorney who was telling me my case was hopeless and to just take a deal. From my very first phone consultation with Mr. West, I knew he was exactly what I needed. His attention to detail, compassion and legal knowledge were superior in every way. He left no stone unturned and was the most prepared and persuasive person I had ever seen in a courtroom. David cares about each and every one of his clients and takes the time to understand them, their background and what their needs are as well as navigate all possible outcomes and fight to the finish for what's best. If I could give more stars I would. He's may not be the cheapest but he's the best. You get what you pay for and in my book he's worth every single penny. The older lady that answers the phone NEVER know anything and can NEVER help with anything but taking a message, in which a call is NEVER returned. The younger lady is always trying to resolve an issue while on the phone so she's the only reason for the 2 stars. As far as David and his Associates they NEVER return phone calls and since his staff NEVER know anything I would think it's important to update a person of what's going on but that NEVER happens. If someone you love has medical emergencies then it'll be super hard for you to get this lawyers office to do anything as far as obtaining medical records in order for them to help, they do expect the loved ones to do everything then give it to them, the older lady told one of the family members to print off the medical release form and take it to the jail and get it signed so they could help NOT offering to get the lawyer or his associate that's getting paid to schedule a visit to get it done. There is no protocol or sense of urgency for inmates with medical conditions, so if you're okay with having to call and harass the only people that can actually advocate for the person you love that is incarcerated then this is definitely not the lawyers office. I will say even though there were no calls but 1 that was returned during the whole process he did get do his job as far as performing in court. To keep hearing idk or I'll have to take a message for someone to return your call and never get that returned call is always unnerving knowing there's nothing you can do about it.

David did a great job in getting early termination of my probation. The judge thanked him at the end of the Motion to early terminate probation hearing for vigorous arguments and zealous representation. She said, “I love good lawyering.” She credited the asst. DA along with David, but David did most of the talking.
