Dr Donnenfeld is the best of the best. He is a pioneer in vision correction surgery; extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I would not trust anyone but him with my vision. I mean, maybe I would, but he is the best. I waited 2 hours to see him (office had been flooded, so they had to relocate to East Meadow, so things were a bit disorganized) but I wasn't even upset-- that's how good he is.

My experience with Dr. Donnenfeld and his surgical team was nothing short of excellent. I went in naturally, somewhat nervous about the procedure and had cancelled my scheduled surgery years prior due to fear of dry eye. I went in this time apprehensive and Dr Donnenfeld put me at ease. The procedure itself was no more than 15 minutes for both eyes which I had roughly -6.5 and -7 script. I came out and followed the instructions to rest and keep my eyes closed 6 hours after. I had almost zero discomfort and no dry eye after. A day later I have 20/20 vision and consider this to be one of the best decisions I have made, drastically improving my quality of life. Dr. Donnenfeld is an expert in his craft and I would highly recommend him if you are considering Lasik or other eye surgery.

Had my lasik surgery done with Dr. Donnenfeld yesterday & I couldn't be any happier!!!! I went today for my post op visit and have 20/20 vision. He is an incredible, smart, tall, and handsome man!!!!! He is very knowledgeable, walked me through every step of the surgery and made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend him as a lasik surgeon, cataract surgeon, and corneal transplant surgeon. He is the best at everything he does!!! Dr. Donnenfeld was absolutely wonderful from start to finish for my Lasik procedure. I saw him in his OCLI Garden City office on Endo Blvd. He was clear explaining the procedure beforehand and he was comforting throughout the procedure itself. It was easy and painless! I am amazed at how clear my vision is. On top of being a competent doctor he is a kind person. I highly recommend him!

Had cross linking done then vision correction Procedures did not go as was presented to me by Dr. Donnenfeld. Now my Cornea is considerably thinner and the results are no different than before. Scared about my future eye sight prognosis and seems like i was just another number. Still wearing my hlasses and and no improvement
