Working with this firm added more frustration and angst to an already stressful situation. Divorce is stressful enough so it was especially upsetting to have such a terrible experience with my attorney. Communication is seriously lacking, at times it took over a month to speak to her... this is after calling several times, leaving messages and emailing. Initially, she advised me that she would handle filing a judgement then 10 weeks later she tells me that her office does handle judgements. This information was definitely contrary to what was stated in our email correspondence but I didn’t even bother to press the situation as I just wanted to be done with this firm. However, given that filing the judgment was time sensitive I was especially perturbed with her delay in not filing it. I was so relieved when the process was over so that I would not have to deal with them or my ex anymore. My experience with E. Jones & Associates is that she over promises and under delivers. My expectations were not managed at all and things that I was told would be done wasn’t done. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to her and she’s absolutely not worth the retainer fee she charges.
